Brecon Food Festival 2020 Postponed

Brecon Beacons Food Festival due to be held on Saturday 3rd October 2020 at Brecon’s Market Hall is postponed.
Event Organiser, Andrew Powell has sent a letter to the exhibitors of this event telling them of his plans

“Dear exhibitor
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we’re getting in touch to let you know that Brecon Beacons Food Festival is going to be postponed until hopefully between December and February.
As you may well be aware, the government has called on the public to stop gathering to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and so it wouldn’t be responsible for us to go ahead with the event at this time. We hope you can join us at the food festival on the rearranged date between December and February.
We’ll keep you posted if anything changes, and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns:

Stay safe, and I will be in touch with more information soon.”

Many people were looking forward to the 22nd annual Brecon Beacons Food Festival planned for Saturday 3rd October in Brecon’s Market Hall to enjoy delicious food and drink from over 70 local producers.
Event organiser, Andrew Powell said “I enjoy organising such a popular event showcasing and selling regional foods as well as promoting the beautiful town of Brecon. I have a passion for food and love to bring like-minded people together to enjoy this annual event, which is why postponing the event is such a blow. But I still want to support the producers that have worked with me over the years and so are thinking of an event at the end of the year or very early next year dependant on government restrictions at the time.
In the meantime Andrew has been using social media to promote the exhibitors across the Brecon Beacons Food festival Facebook page”
